How Popular is Orange County Plastic Surgery?
The number of Orange County plastic surgery procedures every year is astronomical. Of the procedures performed, 54 percent were done in an office facility, 28 percent at a freestanding surgical center, and 17 percent in hospitals. As of 2007, more than $13 billion has been spent on the various types of plastic surgery. Just in the United States alone, close to 11.7 million surgical and nonsurgical procedures were performed, with a large number of those being Orange County plastic surgery procedures. Of plastic surgery performed, the top five choices were, in order: liposuction, breast augmentation, eyelid surgery, tummy tuck, and breast reduction. For nonsurgical procedures, the most requested were Botox injection, hyaluronic, laser hair removal, microdermabrasion, and IPL laser treatment. Although the numbers of plastic surgery procedures are already impressive, they continue to grow each year.
