Basics of an Orange County Facelift

Orange County Facelift Comments (1)

Technically known as rhytidectomy, an Orange County facelift should always performed by a board certified plastic surgeon with years of expertise in this particular field. The purpose of a facelift is to help tighten the skin around the face and neck; if done properly, this is done by tightening both the underlying muscle and the skin giving the face a smoother, more youthful appearance. Age, exposure to sun, gravity and smoking are all causes of loose skin that would lead to the need for an Orange County facelift. Typically, this surgery is performed under general anesthesia as an outpatient surgery. After the procedure, you will most likely have bruising and soreness, but, once healed, the face will look several years younger. While men and women both can have a facelift, this procedure is most common among women in their 40s and 50s. Our lives in Orange County are so busy, that some people are opting for quick fixes like the ‘feather lift,’ ‘thread lift’ and other ‘lunch-time facelift’ procedures. These procedures are limited in their effect and length of result and are often performed by doctors who are NOT board certified plastic surgeons. So remember, if what you are looking for is truly an orange county facelift, take care in entrusting something as important as your face to only a board certified plastic surgeon.

When I was researching about less invasive facial rejuvination surgery like you mention, I came across a website called InfomercialScams.com. where lots of people had submitted complaints about the “Lifestyle Lift” On the Web site, InfomercialScams.com had over 60 complaints from consumers about Lifestyle Lift dating back to May 2007. They submitted the complaints to infomercialscams.com because they were drawn into having the procedure by seeing Lifestyle Lift infomercials or been to its Web site, had procedures performed as a result
