I think that alot of women, like me, and alot of men, for that matter didn’t know what plastic surgery could do for them until shows like ‘the swan’, ‘plastic surgery before and after’ and ‘extreme makeover’ became popular. Most people probably thought cosmetic surgery was for movie stars and never thought about having a procedure to fix the things that bother them. I think it is great that more people have access to cosmetic surgery and are getting educated about their options. It worries me, though, that people may not do their homework before going into a procedure. Please make sure that you do your research and make sure that the surgeon you go to is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and has lots of experience doing the procedure you’re interested in. Ask for testimonials for the surgery you’re planning and see lots of before and after pictures.
